Neglectful

I realize that I have been super neglectful of my blog lately.  It seems life is crazy lately and this has taken a back seat.  Hmmm let me see.  A quick insight into what has been going on.

Kids return to school

Went out of town to photograph a wedding.  Had a ball but realized that I won't be doing another one anytime soon.

Had a grease fire in our kitchen this week.  I set some oil on fire and wow!  It sure doesn't take long to get out of control.  More smoke damage then anything but dealing with insurance has been huge.  We have to replace all plastic and food in our kitchen!  Not something I needed right now.

Dad's in the hospital.  They recently discovered a tumor in his brain.  And his kidneys were being looked at as a possible issue as well.  He hasn't been feeling really well all summer.  A few days ago he fainted.  He was taken to the hospital and now is where he will really get some good care and diagnosis.  I love you Dad and will see you soon.  He is having a birthday on Monday.  Not fun to be in the hospital but I would like that he is being cared for! 

So I needed a break.  Jeff is away with Keagan and so MJ and I went to the park.  This little one holds so much of my heart.  Her spirit is huge, contagious and her hugs are what make me get up and go through another day when sometimes I would rather just stay in bed.
